Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma unveils Choctaw Landing plans

In the United States and the federally-recognized Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma has reportedly announced that the $165 million casino resort it is building in southeastern Oklahoma has been given the name of Choctaw Landing.

According to a Saturday report from the Tahlequah Daily Press newspaper, the tribe detailed that the finished 200,000 sq ft facility to be located near the scenic McCurtain County community of Hochatown is scheduled to open before the end of next year featuring a casino complete with a selection of some 600 slots as well as eight gaming tables. Greentube acquires Admiral Sport in move set to double market share in Italy

Greentube has completed its second acquisition in Italy in just a few months after the recent takeover of Admiral Sport from Novomatic Italia, a move that the Austrian developer and supplier of iGaming solutions says will double their market share in the European country.

A “testament” to its commitment to the market, the acquisition will now see Greentube responsible for an online betting and casino site in Italy, which falls under the AdmiralYes brand and has since 2012 been operated by Novomatic Italia. Additionally, the company is responsible for a retail network of 100-plus sports betting locations in Italy.

Tales of Luminaria Ends Service In July, Less Than One Year After Launch

Bandai Namco announced it will be sunsetting the mobile RPG title, Tales of Luminaria, on July 19. This comes less than one year after it was first launched on November 4, 2021.

“As the first completely original mobile title in the ‘Tales of’ series, our sincere intent was to make this game fun and, by taking on various challenges, to bring ‘Tales of’ to a wider audience around the world, not only Japan,” Bandai Namco says in a statement. “Additionally, we have tried our best to make this service playable over a long time, encouraged by the supportive comments and feedback we have received on SNS.”

It continued, saying, “However, we could not do enough, and we sincerely apologize to all those who have supported and played Tales of Luminaria.”

October brings in $1.7m in online gambling and sports betting revenues for Connecticut

Connecticut’s online gambling and sports betting industry got started in mid-October, and we now know how the month faired. After starting on October 12, the online services generated around $1.7 million through October 31. This is a nice chunk of change for the new industry, and it is estimated to only grow from here.

A Breakdown from the Month

The majority of the revenues were generated from online casino gambling provided by the Mohegan tribe and the Mashantucket Pequot tribe. Services created around $1.2 million of the total. The remaining $513,000 came from sports betting operations via the tribes and the state Lottery.
